This Sunday, October 3, at 3 pm I am presenting an artist talk as part of @Playground Gallery’s group exhibition, Here and Now.

Ambitiously titled, A Nurse’s Guide to World Peace [SPOILER ALERT: I do not have the solution for world peace] I’ll be discussing art making as a dual career, how my life experiences as a registered nurse, and cancer survivor inform my work, and thoughts about navigating our lives through the new normal of the pandemic, Here and Now.

Here and Now is free and open to the public Saturday, and Sunday, October 2, 3 and October 9, 10 from 11 am – 5 pm. The address is 140 NW 4th Ave, Portland, OR. Events include poetry readings, artist workshops, and amazing artwork by PNCA students, instructors, and alums. Stop by if you can.
