This is a used copy of Frank Lloyd Wright’s autobiography, which I am reading. I’m enjoying it. This is a good thing, because it’s nearly 600 pages long!

I was fortunate to grow up in a town with a FLW designed (I was told) home, although I never got to tour it. Last spring, David and I toured the FLW designed home in Silverton, Oregon.

I’ve read Loving Frank, a historical novel by Nancy Horan, depicting the scandalous affair between FLW and Mamah Borthwick Cheney that ended in a heinous multiple murder at his Taliesin home in Wisconsin.

A remarkable life. His prose is as unsentimental, yet lyrical as his architecture. #franklloydwright #nancyhoran #architecturelover
