The Beds We Make

During the lockdown of the pandemic, like many people, I spent more than my usual amount of time at home. To entertain myself, I stopped making my bed daily for about a week. I made sketches of the bedding arrangements as the week progressed. Then I made the painting.

A Little About Myself

JParadisiRN is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in painting and writing. Her paintings and short stories have been published nationally. She has exhibited artwork in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Julianna frequently contributes illustrated blog posts to Off The Charts, the blog of the American Journal of Nursing. She has been a nurse for 33 years, specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care, Oncology Infusion, and as an Oncology Nurse Navigator.
