I’m excited to announce I am a new member artist of Gallery 114, located in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon!

Established in 1990, Gallery 114 has a rich history of presenting high quality art, while integrating a commitment to our community. Previous exhibitions have included performances by Street Roots Voices, and artists of the Portland Art and Learning Studio. Gallery 114‘s commitment to addressing social issues through art, in addition to exhibiting and selling their members’ work, is among the attractions compelling me to join this community of talented, and engaged artists.

I will be exhibiting work in Gallery 114‘s New Member show in September, 2020. Recently, I’ve begun making paintings in layers of resin, enabling me to capture light and depth beyond the capacity of oil painting. These new resin paintings will be exhibited in the September exhibition, and are featured on my website,

I will be adding new work to the website often.

I’m also shiny and brand new on Instagram! A link to my page is embedded on the social media tab at the top right corner of this blog. My Instagram handle is @julparart.

You also can find more about my paintings, and a link to my website, and information about Gallery 114 at:

Gallery 114 is open by appointment during COVID 19.
